Generally, air filter cotton materials can be roughly divided into four types:
1. Artificial fiber filter cotton has the characteristics of low friction resistance, large capacity, environmental protection, and economic development. This type of material filter cotton has a good customer response and is widely used.
2. It is a polyester fiber fabric filter cotton, which is also widely used. Nowadays, the production process is relatively complete and the quality is stable. 4. Fiberglass filter cotton is made of high-quality fiberglass, and the relative density of the fiberglass structure gradually increases. This type of structure can effectively block dust and fine particles at deeper levels, thereby increasing the dust holding capacity. In addition, it also has characteristics such as heat resistance, durability, and sturdiness.
Principles for selecting air filter cotton:
1. According to the type of material, high-quality air filter cotton is made of organic synthetic fibers with high elasticity, compressive strength, and fracture resistance. It is made of high-efficiency and high-quality water-based epoxy resin adhesive through soaking and other production processes. In addition, the fiber density continues to increase. Generally speaking, unprotected fabric or fiberglass mesh will be used to reinforce the windward side of the structure to prevent all chemical fibers from falling off and leaking. If the filter cotton you are using has chemical fibers falling off and hair removal, it may be due to issues with the raw materials and processing technology used in the filter cotton application.
2. According to weight selection, the weight of air filter cotton needs to reach 560-620 grams per square meter. The heavier the weight, the better the quality, and the better the actual effect; If the weight is not enough, the relative density is not enough, and the filtering effect is greatly reduced. Of course, this is not fixed, because in the case of constant relative density, the thinner the thickness, the heavier the weight. The weight meets the regulations, but the thickness exceeds the applicable range. Therefore, the weight should be selected based on the actual situation, rather than blindly following the standards.
3. According to the amount of glue, air filter cotton can be divided into surface coating glue and three-dimensional coating glue. Surface adhesive filter cotton is synthesized by spot gluing on the surface during the production process, while three-dimensional adhesive filter cotton is synthesized by spot gluing on the inside. Therefore, the three-dimensional coated filter cotton has a significant effect and a longer service life. If the clamping force is uneven, the viscosity is low, the collagen fibers are poor, and the dust chemical fiber adsorption effect is not good during production, there may be hair removal and slag shedding.
